Mermaid All Over the Place

In my determination to take this art thing seriously, I have promised myself to complete the paintings that have been sitting in my art room.  I started this one a few months ago, in reaction to another unfinished work.  I woke up one morning and realized the composition of the other unfinished piece was all wrong.  So I drew this one and as I painted it took on a life of its own, as art often does. 

Exploring Art- Famous Artists

I have this dream of offering art workshops based on famous artists.  To creative souls of all ages.  Below are my first three prototypes for my dream workshop series.  Over the weekend, I had the joy of working with a few of my grandchildren on these projects.  Now I just need to figure out how to make it happen!
